AFFCO Rangiuru is situated 6 kilometres from Te Puke in the Bay of Plenty and is strategically sited to take full advantage of the Port of Tauranga. This site was opened in December 1965, and has been considerably redeveloped and modernized during this time. It is now a modern plant, fully licensed for a wide range of markets, including EU, North America, China and all halal markets. It is a multi species plant, and currently processes both ovine and calves. It also is HACCP approved and AusMeat certified. AFFCO Rangiuru produces a full range of cuts, both chilled and frozen, together with offals and quality meals and tallow from its onsite rendering plant.
