Leadership

Tena Koutou Katoa, welcome.

I am proud to introduce our wonderful school to you. Te Puke High School is a friendly, future focussed school, which aims to provide quality learning experiences for each and every student. Our students are placed at the heart of our school. Our highly professional dedicated staff strive to form strong positive learning partnerships with each and every student.

Education is an important asset for each student’s future in an ever-changing world. At Te Puke High School we take learning seriously. Within a supportive environment, our students are expected to take responsibility for their learning and aim for excellence in everything they do.

When our students leave Te Puke High School, I want them to be technologically literate, able to gain new knowledge and skills with relative ease, and have the competitive advantage for success in local, national, and global communities.

Te Puke High School is small enough to care and large enough to compete.

Governance

The Board of Trustees strives to deliver a high-performing school by setting high expectations that are driven through the strategic plan.

We aim to provide the students of our local community with a wide range of educational options that allow each student to reach their potential and to achieve their aspirations and career choices. Te Puke High School gives students the opportunity to excel academically, in sport, and in the arts.

Last year we welcomed the successful introduction of the new Junior Curriculum, which further cemented Te Puke High School’s position as an innovative and future-focused education provider. Initial planning and consultation by the Senior Leadership Team is underway on a new Senior Curriculum.

Members of the Board of Trustees are involved in the early stages of a feasibility study, which is considering the development of a new Action Centre for Te Puke High School and the community. We look forward to bringing this exciting project to all members of the community in the near future as we progress initial discussions.
