Paengaroa is a village in the Bay of Plenty, which lies 11 km from Te Puke, 35 km from Tauranga and 46.2 km from Rotorua, 45 km from Whakatane.

The Community is a mix of residents from Paengaroa Village and the surrounding rural area, shown within the red dotted lines on the map below.

The Radio Mast, shown left, with it’s Red flashing lights at night can be seen from miles away.

A great place to live, learn, work and play. Paengaroa is a mix of urban and rural, predominantly  with horticulture and agriculture, but there are also commercial and industrial businesses, both locally and in neighbouring centres. Rangiuru freezing works and Comvita, KKP (kiwifruit packhouse), are all major employers. The new Rangiuru Industrial Park just a few kilometres down the Tauranga Eastern Link Highway.
