Supporting young people to face life's challenges.

We are a youth development organisation that delivers a variety of progammes to kiwi kids in schools around the country, helping them develop self-awareness and self-efficacy, and confidence. In Te Puke we currently run Kiwi Can in Primary Schools and Project K in Te Puke High.

Project K is run by Ange Davies. It is a 14 month long programme that takes youth on a Wilderness Adventure in Tongariro for 19 days, gets involved in the community by doing volunteer mahi, and matching each young person with a mentor to help them set and achieve goals.

We recruit volunteer mentors every year, 6 males and 6 females. We offer free training support for you during the year. As a group you’ll do some fun activities, and graduate together at the end. If mentoring sparks your interest please contact us.

We are often looking for opportunities for our youth and mentors to volunteer. If your business or organisation would like some free mahi (we’ve done cleaning, rubbish pick up, kiwifruit sorting, cooking for the Hub, painted murals) then please contact us.
