Planning a meeting, celebration, sporting event or large-scale function in Te Puke has just become a whole lot easier, with the launch of the newly upgraded Te Puke War Memorial Hall website.
Thanks to the team at Seed Studio, the Hall’s website has received a much-needed refresh, combining a sleek new design with improved functionality designed to make finding and booking the right space easier.
One of the biggest improvements is the addition of live availability for all of the Hall’s bookable spaces. Visitors can now head online, explore the different rooms, check availability for their preferred date and submit a booking request directly through the website.
A space for every occasion
Located in the heart of Te Puke, the Te Puke War Memorial Hall is a versatile community venue catering for everything from small meetings and weekly activities through to weddings, sporting events, performances, cultural celebrations and large community functions.
The venue includes the Main Auditorium, the Hall’s largest space with capacity for up to 470 people and access to a stage, sound and lighting facilities; the Settlers Lounge, a comfortable carpeted space with access to the Hall’s commercial kitchen; the Pioneer Lounge, a versatile space popular with sporting and activity groups; and the Boardroom, ideal for smaller meetings, training sessions and presentations.
For larger celebrations and events, the Whole Complex can also be hired, providing access to multiple spaces within the venue.
The Hall continues to support the organisations that help make Te Puke a great place to live, with discounted hire rates available for eligible local community groups, registered charities and not-for-profit organisations. Groups simply need to provide their organisation details when submitting a booking request, and the applicable discount will be applied to their invoice once eligibility has been confirmed.
New groups joining the Hall
September will also see two new regular users joining the Hall, with Fiya Dance Academy and Tauranga Oh Do Kwan Taekwondo both commencing regular sessions.
They join a great mix of existing Hall users including Tai Chi Internal Arts, Te Puke Badminton, Kiwicoast Lions, EPIC Te Puke and many more community groups and organisations that regularly make use of the venue.
Hall Manager Cathy Dale is onsite Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am–12pm and is available to help with booking enquiries or finding the most suitable space for your needs.
